Silai School
At our Centre in Siswa Bazar, Maharajganj District (some pictures ) we train students in two shifts with classes given by master crafts persons from USHA International. The students get a 6 week course in basic training where they learn to make garments on machines and materials provided by URJA. At the end of the course they are given a certificate which enables them to find jobs or start their own little business from home. A refresher course is provided too.
URJA also tries to find bulk orders to be able to assist the students in getting some income.
This project is about empowering all.
